We
at L.F.J.C believe in education that helps to
bring out the talents and abilities of students.
The need to encourage students to participate
in a variety of co-curricular activities has
been felt, considering their vital role in shaping
the personality of every student. The healthy
competition and interaction between boys and
girls enable us to recognize the benefits of
a co-educational system. Every year in the II
term, we organize literary, cultural and sports
competitions.

LITERARY COMPETITIONS
|
Our
co-curricular activities begin with the literary
competitions in Essay writing, Debate and Extempore
speech. The Essay writing Competition gives
every student an opportunity to share his/her
experiences at L.F.J.C. The eloquence and confidence
displayed by our budding speakers and debaters
indeed make us proud and give us the assurance
of their innate ability to speak on varied topics.

SPORTS
AND GAMES
|
Coming
to our Games and Sports, competitions are held
in Basketball, Football and Volleyball besides
which there are Athletics for Boys. Our Girls
play Shuttle Badminton while Indoor Games like
Chess and Table Tennis are played by both Boys
and Girls. The true spirit of participation
and sportsmanship and team spirit are clearly
evident during the course of these Games. The
best of our players and athletes represent our
college in the Monfort Games which are held
every year.

The
Annual Vincent memorial Competitions are Intercollegiate
competitions where our students have been over
all champions for the last three years.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
|
Our
cultural activities need a special mention for
the enthusiastic participation of students in
large numbers. Besides competition in music
which we hold every year, we hold competitions
in classical and Modern dance in which many
students participate with great interest. In
addition to this we have Mono- action , Mime,
Mimicry and Fancy dress competitions. Our quiz
competition is also one of the most interesting
events. There is also the Inter-Collegiate competitions
in memory of Rev.Bro.Vincent , our founder Principal
, whose spirit continues to inspire us. The
variety of items provides a large number of
students an opportunity to participate and display
their talents.
We are filled with gratitude to God Almighty
who has blessed us with a conductive atmosphere
and the best of facilities for the successfull
conduct of all our activities which has enabled
us to attain the goal of holistic education.
